Dr. Carl Shenkman

Neurologist

Dr. Carl Shenkman is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in epilepsy and neurocritical care management. He is the neurological director of Bayonet Regional Medical Center and manages the intense neurological conditions. Additionally, he is also the chairman of neurological quality care.

His residency was in neurology at the NY Medical College of the Archdiocese, St Vincent’s Medical Center. He further advanced his neurological training at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Neurological Institute of Manhattan, in Epilepsy and neuro-critical care management.

Initially, he began practice in Atlanta; however, he moved to the Golden Isles of Southeast Georgia to open a neurological practice for 20 years. An opportunity to advance his career led to him relocating to Tampa Bay, where he now runs his neurological practice.

Furthermore, he advanced his education and graduated, during a full-time practice, from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014. Subsequently, he obtained his post-doctorate master of Healthcare Law from the prestigious Loyola School of Law, Chicago, in 2016. He is currently an expert in cause and effect.
